Just 51 miles north of Truckee, tucked away in a picturesque corner of near Reno, an idyllic setting awaited the charming couple, Alexa and Justin. From the moment I set foot in the Chalet View Lodge, I knew that this wedding was going to be one for the books.

On a rainy Sunday, amidst the iconic Bay Bridge and the lush Salesforce Park, we had the pleasure of capturing the love story of Serina and Frederick. The backdrop of San Francisco's Bay Bridge provided the perfect canvas for Serina and Frederick's engagement shoot. The towering structure added a touch of urban elegance to the photographs. Nestled just across the Golden Gate Bridge, Kirby Cove is a tranquil oasis that offers unrivaled views of the city skyline and the iconic bridge itself. The cove, with its rocky shore and sandy beach, provides the perfect canvas for creating timeless and romantic images. As the sun began its descent, the sky transformed into a masterpiece of colors, setting the stage for an unforgettable photoshoot.Photographers often talk about the "golden hour," that magical time just before sunset when the light is soft, warm, and incredibly flattering. Kirby Cove during the golden hour is a photographer's dream. The cliffs and trees cast long shadows, and the colors of the sky intensify, creating a dreamlike atmosphere that lends an ethereal quality to every photograph.

Recently, we had the immense pleasure of capturing the beautiful wedding day of Cindy and John in Pacifica, California. The first part of the day was set in Cindy's family home. The day was filled with joy, love, and a blend of traditions that made the experience truly unforgettable.

Our family trip to Japan this summer was nothing short of amazing. We began our journey in the bustling city of Tokyo, where we were immediately swept up in the vibrant culture, awe-inspiring architecture, and the buzzing energy of the city. The highlight of our Tokyo adventure was boarding the Shinkansen, or the bullet train, a marvel of Japanese engineering. The speed and efficiency of the train added to our excitement as we whizzed through the cityscape towards our next destination - Kyoto. Kyoto was a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, yet no less intriguing. I was in my element there, capturing the city's back streets at night, serene landscapes, and charming markets with my Fuji camera. The thought of returning to Japan fills me with anticipation, not just to explore more of this beautiful country, but also to fulfill a dream of mine - photographing a traditional Japanese wedding. The elegance, rituals, and the beautiful kimonos would make for a truly unique photoshoot. Can't wait to make this dream a reality on our next visit!
