Weddings are beautiful, joyous occasions, filled with laughter, love, and heartwarming moments. But let's be honest, they can also be hectic, tiring, and filled with a sense of urgency to get everything right. This is the story of Asia and Max, a couple who decided to break free from these confines and create their own narrative of love and celebration.
The 1st of November, 2025 marked the beautiful wedding of Asia and Max. Two weeks later, however, they decided to do it all over again. But this time, they traded the hustle and bustle of wedding guests, timelines, and expectations for an empty, serene venue, the freedom to create, and the room to play.
Driving up from LA, they got back into their wedding dress and suit, not for an audience, but for themselves and the love they share. This wasn’t another wedding day; it was a creative portrait day – a concept I highly recommend for couples who have a deep appreciation for photography and the magic it can manifest.
Without the ticking clock or the waiting guests, they had the liberty to create images that were more editorial, intentional, and enchanting. The light was just right, the locations were picturesque, and there was an air of calm and happiness that sometimes eludes the actual wedding day.
Working with Asia and Max was a dream. Their relaxed demeanor, coupled with their palpable love for each other, made every minute of this experience a beautiful memory. The resulting images were nothing short of breathtaking – a true testament to the magic that can happen when you let go of traditional constraints and allow creativity to take over.
So, to those who are planning their big day, consider a post-wedding creative portrait day. It might just give you the freedom to create memories that are even more special, personal, and magical. More of this, please!
