Filoli House is hands down&nbsp;one of my favorite locations&nbsp;to shoot, and this session just made me even more excited for their wedding in&nbsp;March 2025! It&rsquo;s going to be EPIC. 🖤🔥

From the moment I arrived at&nbsp;Boundary Oak Golf Course in Walnut Creek, I knew this wasn&rsquo;t going to be your typical wedding day. And honestly? That&rsquo;s exactly why I loved it.

Laura and Nick built their wedding around the theme&nbsp;'Till Death Do Us Part', and they didn&rsquo;t just embrace it&mdash;they&nbsp;owned&nbsp;it. Every detail, from the decor to their attire, carried this effortlessly cool, gothic-inspired vibe that was still completely romantic.&nbsp;Their centerpieces? Little coffins. Yes, you read that right. The sweetheart table?Framed by a glowing neon sign that read &ldquo;Till Death.&rdquo;&nbsp;It was moody, unique, and downright stunning.

As much as I loved capturing all the jaw-dropping details, the moment that truly stayed with me was when Laura and Nick exchanged their vows&nbsp;in private, right after their ceremony. Chris and Siena made the trip up from LA for their engagement shoot, and we couldn&rsquo;t have asked for a better setting. The crisp fields with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background gave us the perfect mix of nature and iconic scenery.

We wandered through the park, finding different spots that felt just right&mdash;sometimes stopping for a quiet moment. They were up for anything, which made the shoot feel effortless and fun.

Then came the grand finale&mdash;just as the sun dipped below the horizon, Chris and Siena ran straight into the freezing Pacific. No hesitation, just pure excitement. The result? Some of the most spontaneous and beautiful shots of the day.

Chris & Siena’s Golden Gate Adventure

Katherine and Tony&rsquo;s engagement shoot took us on an incredible three-part journey through San Francisco. We kicked things off at the stunning Legion of Honor, where the grand architecture provided the perfect backdrop for some timeless portraits. The elegance of the space matched their effortless connection, making for a dreamy start to the session.

From there, we raced downtown to The View Bar, just in time to catch the sun dipping below the skyline. With only seconds to spare, we captured an epic sunset moment that felt like pure magic&mdash;one of those blink-and-you-miss-it shots that make engagement sessions so thrilling.

The following day, we met up at San Francisco City Hall, where the light was simply incredible. The soft glow filtered through the grand windows, making every frame feel cinematic. Katherine and Tony embraced the beauty of the space, bringing their natural warmth and love into every shot.

Next up? Las Vegas! These two are tying the knot this July, and I can&rsquo;t wait to capture the next chapter of their love story.

Katherin & Tony’s San Francisco Engagement Shoot

Chloe and Stephen&rsquo;s engagement shoot was all about soaking in the city and having a blast along the way. We started in North Beach, meandering through its lively streets, dodging traffic, and cracking jokes. A quick stop at Caf&eacute; Greco gave us an excuse to slow down, sip some coffee, and take in the old-school charm of the neighborhood.

Chinatown was next&mdash;chaotic, colorful, and full of life. No stiff poses, no forced moments&mdash;just two people having an incredible time.

As the day wound down, we made our way to Lands End and Sutro Baths.
The ocean air was crisp, the light was perfect, and they took a quiet moment to just be. No over-the-top romance, just real, simple joy in being together. I can't believe how lucky we were that evening. It was such a gorgeous sunset.
It was a day that felt less like a photo shoot and more like an adventure with two people who genuinely love being around each other.

Overlooking the tranquil Lake Merrit, the venue added a sense of serenity and intimacy to the celebration. Every detail, from the flowers to the lighting, was meticulously planned and executed, reflecting the couple's taste and style.

The day was filled with joy, laughter, and tears, as friends and family gathered to witness this beautiful union. The couple's love for each other was palpable, their smiles infectious. But the highlight of the day, for me, was their first look in the historic living room of the Camron-Stanford House.

There was Carlos, waiting anxiously for his bride, and then there was Shannon, radiant and beautiful in her stunning dress. The look on Carlos's face when he first saw Shannon was one of pure adoration and love - a moment that I am sure will be etched in their hearts forever.

Shannon's dress was indeed a show-stopper. She looked ethereal in a white gown that perfectly accentuated her beauty. The dress, with its intricate detailing and flattering silhouette, was an absolute masterpiece. It was a reflection of Shannon's elegance and grace, and she wore it with such confidence and poise.

Shane was referred to us by one of our mutual friends. As soon as we sparked interest in interviewing him for the position of wedding photographer, he sent over his portfolio which simply blew me away. My now wife and I hired him immediately. From there we did a beautiful engagement shoot in surreal foggy mystical setting on the coast near Half-Moon Bay. This shoot gave us a really pleasant experience and made us really look forward to his photos of the actual wedding. Needless to say he did an amazing job at the wedding which I must leave this review for because Shane comes highly recommended. As a bonus he brought his son along to the wedding for an extra dimension of shots... photography clearly runs in the family.
